Interested?
First, take the time to learn about the work of LILT. Browse our web
site, read a few papers, and talk to the graduate research assistants.
If you are interested and
are already enrolled as a student at UH, send Dr. Suthers:
- A statement of why you are interested in working with LILT. Identify
the project on this site that you'd like to do, or describe a project
of your own choosing and how it fits with LILT's mission.
- Indication of ICS 499, 699, or 700 and which semester you want to
start.
- A brief resume of relevant experience, including a summary of the
ICS courses you have taken and your grades;
- Any other relevant background such as programming experience elsewhere;
- Two references whom we can contact.
We must emphasize that you should take the time to learn about LILT
and have a genuine interest in our work.
