LILT Co-Founds and Publishes in New Journals

This year, two new journals have been launched, both with the assistance of LILT director Dan Suthers. LILT also published several articles in the journals.

International Journal of Computer Supported Collaborative Learning (ijCSCL)

The ijCSCL (pictured right) is the journal of the CSCL community within the International Society of the Learning Sciences. It is edited by Friedrich Hesse and Gerry Stahl. Dan Suthers is an associate editor of the journal. LILT members have three publications in this journal!

Research and Practice in Technology Enhanced Learning (RPTEL)

RPTEL is the journal of the Asia-Pacific Society for Computers in Education. It is edited by Tak-Wai Chan (honorary editor), Yam San Chee (executive editor) and Dan Suthers (associate executive editor), along with several other editors. LILT has one publication in this journal:

Additionally ...

Congratulations to three of our students for their first journal publications! Nathan Dwyer's article based on the first study for his dissertation was already mentioned above. In addition, Astrid Tomsic published her Masters' thesis and Ravi Vatrapu published work he did while at Virginia Tech:
