Constantine & Lockwood Chapter 6. (Also Chapter 15 for another example)
The context model indicates what information and ways of acting on that information belong together in order to effectively support related tasks (essential use cases). The navigation model indicates how one moves between contexts. Together these form the interface architecture. This is straightforward but useful stuff. Pay attention to the transition from EUCs to contexts and then in the week after next week's reading the transition from contexts to information design.
Monday: we made an interface architecture for our beloved address book.
Wednesday: we watched CHI conference videos to get ideas for our projects.
You also have Assignment 3 in progress, due 2/9.
This week you can also start on Assignment 4, Interface Architecture & Visual Design (as soon as I link to it). It is due 2/16.
