Accessing HCI Reading Materials on Reserve

Here are the instructions written by the UH Reserve Librarian. In spite of their claim to be in the dark ages with web browsers, it does work fine with Firefox.

***IMPORTANT INFORMATION: Please inform your students****
If you are viewing Electronic Reserve from any location other than
these Hamilton or Sinclair Libraries you will be asked to login the
first time you access one of these files. The login will involve
entering either:

1) your UH Number (from your student, faculty or staff id
card) and last name; ***Must have active UH Manoa ID***

OR,

2) your UH Username and password (the one you use for email@hawaii.edu
and MyUH). **Must be UH Manoa faculty, staff, student, or affiliate***

If you are not registered at UH Manoa, you can use the online
circulation form at http://libweb.hawaii.edu/uhmlib/forms/IDReg.htm
and select Manoa as your campus, or call Access Services: Hamilton
Circulation at 956-7203, Sinclair Reserves at 956-8308 x 52.

Works best with Internet Explorer. We recommend that you use the most
current version of Adobe Acrobat Reader and configure the Acrobat
Reader to open PDF files in a separate window.

Open browser then open Acrobat Reader,
Edit menu >
Preferences >
Options >
Web Browser Options >
UNCHECK display PDF in browser.
Close browser and Acrobat Reader and click on the e-items

Or right click on the link and select Open in New Window
